Laura came to Eagle Ranch in May of 2018 after moving from Illinois to Georgia. She has a Master of Arts in Teaching from National-Louis University and a Bachelor of Arts from Northern Illinois University. Prior to Eagle Ranch, Laura worked in the education field for over 23 years as an education facilitator, a certified technical writer, and a college-level teacher. As the program administrator, Laura facilitates and implements program-specific needs, goals, and requirements and ensures that all parts of the program are communicating with each other.
In her spare time, Laura volunteers as a Wish Granter | Mentor for Make-A-Wish Georgia where she interviews kids who are battling critical illnesses to discover their lifelong wishes. Though she misses her friends and family back in Chicago, she feels blessed to be a part of the Eagle Ranch family.
