Eagle Ranch is now hiring a Director of Marketing & Brand Strategy

REPORTS TO: Executive Director

EMPLOYMENT CLASSIFICATION: Full-time, 40 hours per week. Exempt.

PURPOSE OF POSITION: The Director of Marketing & Brand Strategy is responsible for leading a team to steward and grow the Eagle Ranch brand to further represent excellence in providing resources, community, and programming for struggling Georgia children and families.

Eagle Ranch refreshed its brand strategy, positioning, and visual identity in late 2023. This role will be responsible for refining and further integrating this brand strategy across all organizational touchpoints, both internally and externally. Internally, this includes, but is not limited to, engaging with leaders across the Ranch’s various program services, and especially with the Development team, as much of our marketing work supports the development needs of the organization. Externally, this will include managing agency and vendor relationships, along with keeping the voice of Eagle Ranch’s client base at the forefront of all marketing and communications work.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

TEAM & ORGANIZATIONAL LEADERSHIP:

  • Develop and manage annual strategic plan and budget.
  • Lead, support, and develop two full-time direct reports.
  • Part of Senior Leadership Team at Eagle Ranch and responsible for helping to set organizational strategy and direction.
  • Manage external agency and vendor relationships.

 BRAND STRATEGY:

  • Identify opportunities to expand and elevate brand awareness and exposure.
  • Steward brand messaging and visual identity across the organization and with vendors to ensure consistency and effectiveness.

MARKETING & ENGAGEMENT:

  • Design and implement targeted campaigns to inform and engage with Eagle Ranch’s primary audience: women reaching out for help with their child/family. At least part of these campaigns should include a digital marketing strategy that helps families in Georgia see Eagle Ranch as an essential resource for child and family needs.
  • Design and implement targeted campaigns for Eagle Ranch donors with a particular focus on keeping long-term donors engaged while cultivating relationships with new donors as the next generation of Ranch supporters.
  • Develop an annual communications plan (both internal and external) to help advance the mission of the organization with accompanying channel strategies. Communication channels likely include but not limited to: social media, website, email, events, and speaking engagements.

PUBLIC RELATIONS: 

  • Manage and cultivate the Eagle Ranch brand in local media relations to help further build trust and understanding of the Ranch’s mission.
  • Resource internal teams with content and materials to keep Eagle Ranch top of mind in the local community. Examples of resources include, but not limited to: printed and digital collateral, online content, event presentation templates, video content, and branded items.
  • Plan and executes strategic media initiatives for online, broadcast, and print media.
  • Respond to media inquiries and schedule interviews/appearances with the appropriate spokesperson, serving as spokesperson when needed.
  • Create media kit, press releases, media statements, and talking points.

BASIC SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Affirms and exhibits a life in line with Eagle Ranch’s Statement of Faith
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college
  • At least ten years of brand strategy/marketing/communications experience
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, project management platforms like Asana & comfortable building presentations (both in Keynote and PowerPoint)
  • Understanding and appreciation for social media and digital marketing
  • Ability to influence across all levels of the organization
  • Proven track record of building strong relationships to drive business results
