Feb. 2 event will address how technology affects today’s teens and young adults, and how to successfully prepare the next generation
Flowery Branch, Ga., January 9, 2017 – Entitled, disrespectful, impatient? Misunderstood, innovative, engaged? Many words have been used to describe today’s students and younger workforce. Author, educator and international speaker Dr. Tim Elmore is coming to Eagle Ranch on February 2 to present “Generation iY and Generation Z: Secrets to Connecting with Today’s Teens and Young Adults.”
Elmore will offer insights and guidance on communicating with, teaching and leading today’s millennials, also known as Generation iY, and the up-and-coming Generation Z. The 5-hour workshop will review five generations interacting in today’s world and how technology has changed relationships, work styles and more.
Open to Professionals and the Public
The workshop will offer 5 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for therapeutic professionals, as designated by organizations including: LPCA-GA, NASW-GA, GAMFT. Others who regularly interact and work with young people in any capacity may also find the workshop of interest, particularly those in education and ministry. The event takes place Thursday, Feb. 2, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at Eagle Ranch’s Flowery Branch campus, 5500 Union Church Road.
The cost of the workshop is $125, which includes all workshop materials, a catered lunch and snacks. Elmore will also have books and resources available at the event for an additional cost.
