Developing sacred rhythms in our lives is different than making resolutions. It’s a commitment to making fundamental changes in the way we live.
Helping our boys and girls develop these rhythms is an important goal for us. Consistent devotional times and regular church attendance, learning to process their feelings and be vulnerable with each other, and developing effective study habits are just a few of the disciplines that help them create sacred rhythms.
Our hope is to give the boys and girls who live with us a glimpse of how healthy life rhythms can lead to profound changes in who we are and how we live. They, in turn, will pass them on to their own children, benefiting many future generations.
