My lovely wife (Jennifer) and I and five wonderful children (Ansley, Rachel, Jayden, Weslyn, & Zane) whom we love dearly. Our three oldest are either finishing up university or working, while our two youngest are in 6th and 9th grade. Before retiring in the summer of 2022, I spent my adult working career in public education as a teacher, assistant principal, and principal. My bachelors and masters degrees were both from the University of Georgia, while my specialist degree is from Lincoln Memorial University. I have always enjoyed education because of the opportunities to build relationships with students, affording a chance to impact their lives in a positive way. I knew about Eagle Ranch simply from being in education in Hall County… or so I thought. To me Eagle Ranch was a place where kids had others pour into them in a Christian setting to change their lives. As I drove on campus for a meeting that would be the start to the interview process, a tangible presence of the Lord was there. The hand of the Lord is upon Eagle Ranch, and I am blessed to be a part of a wonderful place where the light of Christ shines on hearts and souls.
