Fred Haselden

Director of Education

I was born and raised in a small town in South Carolina. I attended Lander University in Greenwood, SC where I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education.

Upon graduation, I moved to Atlanta to work at Masters Christian Academy where I met my wife “Janie.” We have been married for 17 years and have two amazing children. Anna, our 14 year old, 9th grade daughter is a volleyball extraordinaire; and James, our 10 year old, 5th grade son is a Tae Kwon Do black belt.

I have worked in education in several capacities over the past 23 years. I have been a teacher, instructional coach, assistant principal, and principal in private, Christian education, as well as public education. I also have a Master of Education degree in curriculum and instruction, and a Doctorate of Education degree in leadership and management.

Early last summer, my wife and I began praying about our future career plans. As a result, we felt the Lord leading me to Eagle Ranch as Director of Education. It is my honor and privilege to be a part of the Eagle Ranch family and the amazing work God is doing to make life better for children and families.
