Eddie Staub has been with Eagle Ranch since he founded the organization in 1982. Since its inception, Staub has received multiple accolades and been involved with a variety of professional and philanthropic activities. Under Staub’s leadership, Eagle Ranch has been internationally recognized as a pioneer of childcare and family reunification. Staub has been involved with Leadership Hall County (1985) and Leadership Georgia (1999), and was recognized as Gainesville Jaycees Young Man of the Year (1992) and Georgia Jaycees Outstanding Young Georgian (1992). Most recently, Staub was awarded the E. Dale Threadgill Service Award from Leadership Georgia (2018).
Staub is also the founder of Eagle Ranch’s Wings Initiative. Since 1996, Staub and Eagle Ranch’s Wings Initiative have helped hundreds of children’s programs and other non-profit organizations across the United States and internationally. Some of our Wings Initiative partners include: Chestnut Mountain Ranch in Morgantown, WV; Heritage Ranch in Baton Rouge, LA; Homes of Hope for Children in Hattiesburg, MS; Soaring Wings Ranch in Conway, AR; La Casa de mi Padre in El Salvador; and, American Caribbean Experience in Jamaica.
