Spiritual Life Assistant

Eagle Ranch is seeking a part-time Spiritual Life Assistant to work in our girls’ program.

REPORTS TO: Director of Spiritual Life (DOSL)

EMPLOYMENT CLASSIFICATION: Part Time (25 hours/week)

POSITION SUMMARY: A designated female staff member who helps to encourage the spiritual development of children, families, and staff who are a part of Eagle Ranch. This will be accomplished through relational ministry, discipleship, care, and teaching. 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build life-on-life relationships with girls in the program.
  • Invest in and disciple girls in the program through regular bible study.
  • Provide spiritual support and encouragement to female staff members (Program Assistants, Houseparents and Admin Staff).
  • Lead a regular Bible study for Program Assistants.
  • Have a willingness to teach the Bible at Eagle Ranch School and in other contexts.
  • Help develop and engage in spiritual formation and community events at ER (dare nights, devotions, staff chapel, family worship, Leadership etc.).
  • Assist the DOSL in planning and implementation of spiritual life activities and programs.
  • Serve the Eagle Ranch Program in areas directed by the DOSL

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)
  • Mature and growing Christian actively involved in a community church.
  • Strives to maintain a close, daily walk with God.
  • Self-motivated and demonstrates initiative in work.
  • Work or volunteer experience with young women.
  • Evidence of fruit in discipleship relationships.
  • Teachable attitude.
  • Excellent character, health and emotional stability.
