As Director of Brand Strategy, Planning & Design, Sara’s work has involved crafting the first full brand strategy for Chick-fil-A, leading the implementation of an internal brand system and identifying strategic opportunities for the brand’s external presence. Sara brings a passion for purpose-driven brands that positively impact people and society. She leads from a philosophy of brand strategy as central to both internal culture and the total customer experience.
Prior to joining Chick-fil-A in 2014, Sara was an Innovation Director with Prophet, a Marketing and Brand Strategy consulting firm. There, she consulted Fortune 100 brands on how to grow through innovation, brand and leadership development.
Outside of her corporate role, Sara is wife to David, mom of two growing (super awesome) boys – Sam and Barrett, an avid reader and a fan of all things theatre and interior design.
Sara holds a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from Virginia Commonwealth University.
